Sankalpa Mudra, is also known as "The Gesture of Determination" or "The Gesture of Manifestation." Derived from the Sanskrit words "sankalpa" meaning determination or intention, Sankalpa Mudra is believed to accelerate the manifestation of your goals and bring positive intentions into your life especially in work.
This gesture not only conveys confidence but also symbolizes the balance between the right and left brain hemispheres, enhancing their connection and functioning.

While Sankalpa Mudra has no known side effects, it's essential to keep a few things in mind:
- Set strong and specific intentions whenever possible.
- Prioritize your comfort while practicing the mudra.
- Practice it during meditation sessions for maximum benefits.
- Ensure you get enough rest and quality sleep.
How long should you practice?
- The best time to practice is in the morning as soon as you wake up. If that will take some getting used to, then you can practice at any time of day at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating food. A full stomach makes it hard to breath properly, and it is good to give time after a session to absorb the effects before eating.
- Practice for 10-20 minutes a day, 1-3 times a day, for at least 7 days in a row. Then take account of how your are feeling and whether you need to continue for another 7 days.Â
- Set the intention of being open to all new ideas, opportunities, and resources that support your goals. If you do not have solid goals, set the intention to find the goals that will enhance your life.Â
